Three text files are needed to define your song:
x.grammar
x.notes
x.worddef
where x is the name of your song. Sing-a-Password automatically scans the "words" folders for other songs. The example song, Charlie is my Darling, is from Kelly's MacinSinger program. I am very grateful to Charles I. Kelly for his emails and for making that collection of songs, which inspired me to make Sing-a-password.
The x.notes files is simply the list of notes to play, syllable by syllable.
x.worddef lists the names of substitution tables; use the included ascii character table and write the words you want to correspond to each letter of symbol. Separate syllables by slashes.
x.grammar is the lyrics of the song, where each occurence of a word that can be replaced is indicated by a number. This number specifies which entry to use in the worddef file.
